Spring Yard Clean Up!

You've got some more time on your hands since you are staying home, so what can you do? You can get to work on some yard clean up! It's spring and it's the perfect time to make it look great and keep it healthy!

Here are some tasks that will keep you busy, and by the time, you are done, you will have a beautiful yard worthy of an Instagram post!

1. Clean out dead plants and leaves from your landscaping beds. Clean out any plants that didn't winter and also any pine cones that might have wandered in. This will keep your bed fresh and nothing will be blocking the sunlight from reaching the plants you do want in your bed.

2. Add mulch. The mulch will hold in moisture for your soil, plus it just looks great!

3. Check retaining walls. Settling may have occurred, so make sure that the walls are not at risk of toppling over.

4. Cut back unwanted plants. You might have plants that you don't want to take over the bed. Cut them back to keep them under control. You'll also want to get rid of any sprouts that might have popped up, like little trees.
